Today we honor those on the Meta team, and those around the nation, who have served in the defense of freedom.

Meta is pleased to announce the hire of Troy Wintersteen, a highly recognized Client Executive with a successful career spanning 30+ years. Troy's experience with Oracle Cloud customers, sales, and his passion for customer service excellence makes him an outstanding complement to the Meta team.

Troy began his Human Resources Technology career in 1991 with Paychex, Inc., then moved to Sigma Data Systems, Inc. as a sales executive for the western U.S. in 1993. By the time he left Sigma, he was the Executive Vice President responsible for civil service/merit recruitment and selection software sales, marketing, support, contract negotiation, product documentation and customer success for the U.S. State and Local Government market. After a brief stint as a home automation entrepreneur, he returned to the State and Local HR market as Vice President of Sales for JobAps, Inc. where he closed some of the largest contracts won by the Cloud-based software company at the time through a laser focus on customer value and responsiveness.

In 2011, Troy joined Oracle as a Human Resources overlay sales executive, then quickly moved to a strategic Cloud Technology role helping Oracle and it's government customers position and understand the Cloud value proposition for Oracle's HR solutions, including the Taleo portfolio that was acquired at the time. From there, Troy transitioned into leadership for Oracle's State and Local government HCM Cloud strategy, empowering sales teams with HR thought leadership, optimizing sales engagements, championing customer success as an HCM Executive Sponsor on numerous Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, and helping organize public sector customers to advocate for critical industry functionality until his retirement in January 2024.

Troy is excited to reengage with Oracle and Oracle customers to support Metaformers' focus on helping organizations achieve People Driven ROI®.
