Throwback to my infant years in the industry shop hopping and getting my footing / design roots. I have worked with 7 different floral design companies before I started my own. Switching shops was hard sometimes because they all taught different style and used different techniques. Some wanted me to drop everything I knew from previous shops in order to learn their specific style - which is okay, because their customers love them for their own unique taste. Being an independent designer / company now allows me that same freedom. I can take everything that has been meaningful and beneficial to my journey and drop what no longer serves me and have built my own style and floral culture. The journey matters 💖

I don’t think I will ever quite be over this shoot. This day. The feeling of whimsy from being able to create from the soul. In an industry fixated on perfection and display, it’s nice to have a break and create from the heart and go with the flow of nature instead of forcing into to flourish with the mould we design. A collection of perfectly mismatched decor, local flowers picked fresh from a garden, and the perfect place for all of you to sit and smile at each other. That is the dream. That is the heart and inspiration of what Biofloria means: the need to connect with flowers. 🌸
