I saw someone describe the Cosmic Rainbow flavor as tasting like Nerds, so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, I don't really get a Nerds flavor from it. To my taste buds, it's more like what I imagine sugar-free Skittles would taste like — a sweet, fruity candy flavor, but without quite as much punch.

That said, the zero sugar isn't the issue for me. I exclusively drink sugar-free drinks, so I'm very used to the taste of artificial sweeteners and don't feel like the lack of sugar ruined the flavor.

The drink itself is decent, and I like the 200mg of caffeine, but based on the hype around the flavor, I was expecting something a little more unique and closer to that tart, candy-like Nerds taste. It's definitely drinkable, but I probably wouldn't rank it among my favorite C4 flavors.

Bottom line: Worth trying if you like fruity, candy-inspired flavors, but don't buy it expecting it to taste like Nerds.
