🛋️ Couch. Kenzie takes this one very seriously. Toys gathered, belly up, absolutely no plans for the rest of the day.

Quincy needs a foster! 💚
This happy, playful boy was born June 24 and is ready to trade life with his littermates for a foster home of his own.
Quincy is friendly with people and other dogs and loves exactly what you’d expect from a puppy—playing, exploring, learning, and soaking up attention. A foster home will give him the chance to keep building confidence, learn the basics of family life, and get the individual attention he deserves while he waits for his forever home.

Happy Tail: Lyla 🐾
It’s been just over a month since Lyla (formerly Marcella) went home with Aparna & Abhishek, and she’s doing wonderfully!
Once a shy pup, Lyla is gaining confidence every week—with a little help from her older sister. She’s even conquered getting into the car by herself! 🚗
Her favorite enrichment? Cardboard boxes. Toys are great, but apparently nothing beats shredding an Amazon box and politely spitting out the pieces. 😂
When she isn’t learning, exploring, or playing with her sister, you’ll likely find Lyla belly-up on the couch.
We love seeing our pups settle in and become part of the family. 💚

This is how we party at the end of the work week! We were asked to take these 4 (spoiler alert * there are actually 5) puppies. They were found on a busy road in Sunnyside, WA with coyotes all around them. A kind neighbor scared away the coyotes and gathered up the puppies and contacted our rescue partner, Wabi Sabi Paws, who reached out to us. They helped transport these puppies to us. We will spend the weekend getting them settled in. More updates soon!.

Yesterday we met Dusty Waggin’ Dog Rescue halfway to bring these pups into NWWBR and start their next chapter.
Now they’re looking for places to land. The R pups are available for foster or adoption — whether you can offer a temporary home or a forever one, they’d love to meet you. 💚

Jersey’s preferred wellness retreat has a very specific itinerary:
🧘 predictable routine
🚶 morning and evening walks
🛋️ a comfortable place to settle
🤍 her favorite human nearby
🔇 no need to be the loudest one at the party
At just over 30 pounds, Jersey is a manageable-sized Australian Cattle Dog mix who prefers the quieter side of life. She can be shy at first, but with time and consistency, her sweet and expressive personality comes through.

Four new puppies just arrived at NWWBR. 🐾
They’re safe, but they came to us with coats matted with dirt, sticks, burrs, and what we can only describe as nature woven into their fur.
Those mats aren’t just messy—they pull on the skin and can be uncomfortable, so getting these pups cleaned up is part of getting them comfortable again.
We’re looking for groomer recommendations and help covering the cost of grooming all four. 💚
