2025 Regionals Recap - RRC makes program history! With 73% of entries in the A final, 5 podium finishes, and 3 Nationals qualifications, this was easily our team’s most successful year yet. We are so proud of all of our athletes’ hard work, and grateful for all of the time our coaches and parents have put in to get them here! Well done to all crews, and a special shout out to our Men’s Youth 1x, Women’s Youth 2x, and Women’s U16 4x+ who punched their tickets to Nationals. We’ll see you in Florida, and ROW RENTON! 💙💪🚣🏽‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who participated in our annual Intra-Team Scrimmage yesterday! We were fortunate to have a whopping 41 youth and masters rowers in attendance, ranging in age from 12 to 74. The weather even cooperated and gave us some sunshine and flat water! Thank you to the youth team for making the drive to scrimmage with our high school athletes this past Saturday! Despite some choppy water, we had a great time racing head-to-head in some 750m pieces. This practice will help both of our teams prepare for NW Regionals which is coming up in a couple short weeks. We can’t wait to see Whatcom out on the race course again very soon! 💪

Last weekend we had 18 of our competitive high school athletes racing at the Covered Bridge Regatta in Lowell, OR! We had a packed weekend with 21 entries across 1.5 days of racing, capping out the regatta with an amazing 9 podium finishes against some very speedy competition. These results also placed RRC in the top 5 teams for points efficiency, a first for our program at this race!
Thank you parents and race organizers for a fantastic weekend. Next up, the big one—here we come, Youth Regionals!

We’ve had two back-to-back regatta weekends, which means we’ve got some catching up to do! Last weekend we got our high school and masters squads on the 1k race course at Lake Stevens with some AMAZING results! We had a total of 37 athletes race over two days, 7 athletes racing for the first time ever, and a staggering 16 total podium finishes 🥉🥈🥇 Way to race, Renton!

Better late than never! Our high school team had a fantastic time racing at the 2025 Swiftwater Sprints regatta on Vashon Island last weekend, despite some wind and rain, rain, and more rain. 17 athletes, 5 medals, 3 first time racers, and 1 coxswain carry! We’re very pleased with these results and can’t wait to show off what we’ve been working on since then at the Spring Sprints regatta on Lake Stevens this weekend.

It's that time of year again! We have registrations open now for all youth summer camps for athletes of all experience levels. Also available now is registration for our April and May sessions of Adult Learn to Row. Check out our available programs and get on the water with us!

Husky Open report 🩵🤍💙 Thank you to the UW for hosting us at this year’s regatta! We raced a masters women’s 4x+ and two youth 4x+s to great results and plenty of learning opportunities too. Final results are in:
