One Forty One

ope to fill this page with information and pictures of what a wonderful community we have built together at the One Forty One. As you know, the One Forty One is a super sweet building which was originally constructed in the early 1900's. As far as we know the building was created to be a short term residence for people who wanted to move to Reno to get a quick divorce. In the early 1900's people were able to move to Reno and gain residency after 6 months. With Reno's relaxed divorce laws, a person was able to get a quick divorce by providing proof of residency. We know the One Forty One survived a fire in the 60's or 70's & holds an old sauna in the basement where it's speculated there was a "speakeasy" operation set up. There is still some research to do but if any of you come across old photos of the One Forty One please feel free to share on this page! After becoming quite a run down establishment Rylexa properties purchased the building and turned it into the hip community we are building today!
