The Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West! June 18-27, 2026. We rodeo for the kids. Reno Rodeo is a non-profit organization made up over 500 volunteers.

Reno Rodeo is a 10-day event which began in 1919 and is a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned sporting event. Over 150,000 fans will be in attendance for the 4th richest PRCA tour rodeo. The event impacts the Reno/Sparks area economy with $40 million going to hotels, casinos, restaurants and retail. The Reno Rodeo Association will enforce a clear bag policy at the Reno-Sparks Livestock and Events Center during the 2026 Reno Rodeo.

These are the bags that are permitted:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags or purses, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 8”x11”
** Exceptions made for diaper bags and medically necessary items after inspection.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: briefcases; backpacks, cinch bags, and f***y packs that are not clear and/or exceed the size restriction; luggage of any kind; computer bags/cases; camera bags/cases; binocular bags/cases; or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Fans will continue to be able to carry items allowed onto the grounds in a permissible clear bag, such as binoculars and small hand-held cameras (video cameras of any kind and professional cameras with a detachable lens are prohibited).

will expand its lineup this year with new themed activations inside the indoor arena, giving fans more ways to experience the Reno Rodeo beyond the nightly arena action. The VIP space offers a speakeasy-style setting with appetizers, exclusive drinks, comfortable seating and views of the nightly viewing party.

New this year, Doc Bar will host a Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 21, with a family-friendly brunch experience celebrating dads Reno Rodeo-style. The lineup also includes Trivia Tuesday on June 23, featuring questions tied to Americana, Nevada history, PRCA rodeo and Reno Rodeo traditions, and Wolf Pack Wednesday on June 24, inviting Nevada fans to bring the silver and blue to rodeo night.
