💚 Urban Scout Reno — Closing Announcement

We’ve got some bittersweet news — Urban Scout Reno will be closing its doors on November 23, 2025. 😢

This space has been our home for so many wonderful years — a place filled with greenery, creativity, and the most amazing community we could have hoped for. Unfortunately, a significant rent increase has made it unsustainable for us to continue in this location.

But don’t worry — this isn’t goodbye forever! 🌿 You can still find us thriving at our San Francisco store, and we’re already scouting (yes, pun intended 😉) for a new Reno space to grow into soon.

In the meantime, we’re hosting a closing sale to help our plants and decor find new homes:

Say hello to this Pachypodium🌵
While they appear to be related to the cactus, these guys are actually more closely related to succulents! Native to Madagascar and Africa, Pachypodiums like full sunshine and are drought tolerant. Let them dry out completely before giving them a good drink of water.

🧧🪴Money trees (aka Pachira aquatica) are a popular gift and the braided trunk of an ornamental money tree is said to trap good fortune and while the five fingered leaves represent the five elements.

String of Turtles 🐢 are one of our favorite strings. This adorable succulent has leaves that resemble tiny green turtle shells that grow on a vine.

Hoya curtisii is a cute trailing hoya variety. It likes bright light and well-draining soil that dries out between waterings. They like a cozy pot for their roots so keep in mind to pot just one size up (e.g. 4” pot to a 6” pot). 💚🪴🌈
