Advocates for Rural Community Health (ARCH) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization developing the rural health sector worldwide. ARCH was born.
This idea came about while studying abroad in Uganda and conducting research for a master's thesis. While interning with the World Health Organization (WHO), Leissan spent one week visiting health centers. In visiting the health centers, there was a common theme of lack of adequate number of employees as well as professional development and skills training. ARCH will bring medical school students
