🐺 The Wolf Pack Fieldhouse is taking shape!

Steel is up, roof panels are going on, and the Wolf Pack Fieldhouse at the University of Nevada, Reno is becoming a major new presence east of Mackay Stadium.

This public-private partnership project is moving on schedule, with the structure now showing the scale this facility will bring to campus. PB’s team is working closely with the University to keep construction coordinated, safe, and responsive within an active campus environment.

Once complete, the Fieldhouse will expand indoor training capacity for Wolf Pack athletics and create more year-round flexibility for student-athletes, coaches, the Marching Band, club sports, spirit teams, ROTC, and the University at large.

We had an amazing time at Echo Loder Elementary’s STEAM Career Day! 🎉

From students exploring the jobsite with Geary 🏗️ to connecting with Seth and our team inside, it was a morning full of curiosity and big ideas.

We’re grateful to be alongside incredible partners like WCSD Capital Projects, PK Electrical, Ainsworth Engineers, H+K Architects, and other local professionals helping inspire the next generation. 💡

A Preview of What’s Taking Shape Inside Reed High 🚧👀

Collaborative Design Studio recently shared a look at the material and color boards for the Reed High School Modernization project, and they are a fun preview of what is starting to take shape inside the new building.

Boards like these are part of the design process on most projects. Architects and interior designers use them to study how colors, textures, flooring, wall finishes, casework, and other materials will work together before they show up in the finished space.

For Reed, the palette carries the school’s identity forward while adding updated, durable materials that bring warmth, contrast, and a fresh feel to the spaces students will use every day. Color will also support wayfinding, helping students, staff, and visitors move through the building more intuitively.

With the building topped out and interior work underway, this is a great preview of WCSD’s continued investment in learning environments across Washoe County. 🧱

NEON bowling, PB style 🌺🎳✨

The Super-Pin-Tendents were back at the Reno Junior Achievement Bowling Tournament for another fun year, and they understood the assignment.

They added signature PB Hawaiian polos to their uniform look and let the bright safety yellow do the talking. The look earned them 🥈 second place in the costume contest and plenty of attention on the lanes.

Our employee-led Good Works Committee is proud to support Junior Achievement and the incredible work they do for students in our community.

Mobilization is underway for the Echo Loder Elementary School replacement! 🎉

With the project recently awarded, we are rolling out and preparing for construction at this Reno neighborhood campus where students will continue using the existing school until the new school is completed. The next phase after moving in will be to demolish the old buildings to make way for new outdoor facilities. Careful sequencing and a community-aware approach will help keep students, staff, and neighbors safe as their new school takes shape! Check out the exciting new designs in these renderings.

The Reed High School Modernization team took a break today to celebrate an important project milestone with a jobsite BBQ for everyone on site. Even with chilly, overcast weather, warm food and good company made it a great day.

Thank you to for the continued partnership, and to for the setup and a fantastic spread — BBQ, sides, drinks, and cookies to keep everyone fueled.
