We are a branch of the international volunteer organization "Head Huggers", making chemo caps with style! We were named Knitting Godesses and Friends. Join us !
until this Spring. Our new name is Yarn Over Coffee, with #yarnovercoffee. We are a group of fiber artists making hats for cancer patients in our area, as well as improve our skills and do private projects. We meet Tuesday from 10 to 12 at Swill coffee house on Lakeside Court in Reno, NV. Our international organization is www.headhuggers,org. We are happy to teach our skills.

Some recent donation from Yarn Over Coffee to Northern Nevada Childrens Cancer Foundation.Pictured are Joan, Tiffany and Jenae holding up 3 of the 15 blankets from our group. 29 childrens caps delivered at the same time. You will see those later, if I can get computer to admit storing those pictures,

We have had a few chilly nights. Luckily these went to the American Cancer Society branch at the Sally de Lipkau Cancer Resource Center at a local hospital.

It has been a while since Chemo Caps, Reno has posted. The members have been busy on vacation, or taking care of family and home. They have taken time to produce a number of lovely and cheerful items. The round blanket is 36 inches in diameter, the small cap in center is for size comparison. The next four blankets are intentionaly bright as these five will go to Northern Nevada Childrn's Cancer Foundation.
