Shaped by tradition and fueled by community, we are committed to making sure every child in Northern Nevada feels valued, supported, and never forgotten.

A toothbrush. Shampoo. Deodorant. A hairbrush.

They’re everyday items most of us don’t think twice about. But for a child in foster care, having brand-new essentials of their own can provide a little dignity and comfort during an incredibly difficult transition.

That’s why Ryder Homes is stepping up for children across Northern Nevada by hosting a Reno Rodeo Foundation Denim Drive hygiene collection from September 28 through November 6.

Drop off new hygiene items at:

Ryder Homes
985 Damonte Ranch Pkwy., Suite 140
Reno, NV 89521

Every item collected will support our Denim Drive, which provides brand-new clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and other essentials directly to children in foster care across Northern Nevada.

We’re grateful to Ryder Homes for opening its doors to the community and helping us make sure these children have the essentials they need when they need them most.

Want your business, school or organization to do the same? Denim Drive collections can now be hosted year-round and customized to fit your group. Our community-wide Denim Drive campaign will return May 1 through June 30, but there’s no need to wait until spring to make a difference. We are so grateful for Allegra Marketing Print Mail - Reno, NV and their continued support of the Reno Rodeo Foundation!

And speaking of Rowdy’s Roundup… another edition will be hitting mailboxes in October!

Thank you, Allegra, for being such a wonderful supporter of the Reno Rodeo Foundation and the work we do for children and young adults across Northern Nevada

Congratulations to the Reno Rodeo Foundation — a 2026 Allegra FootPRINT Fund recipient!

Most people know the Reno Rodeo. Fewer know that since 1986 it has carried a foundation alongside it, with one goal: that every child in Northern Nevada feels valued, supported, and never forgotten.

Here's what that looks like across 14 counties.

When a child is removed from their home and enters foster care, they often arrive with nothing. The Denim Drive gives them brand-new clothing, shoes and essentials — 4,258 kids so far, more than 2,100 of them on a personalized shopping trip of their own.

When a child has to sit through a family court proceeding, the Reading Rooms give them somewhere to be a kid instead. 5,759 books and more than 2,500 ranch-themed stuffed animals, in courthouses where nobody wants to be.

Rodeo Wish creates experiences for children facing serious medical, mental and developmental challenges — nominated by the people who care for them.

And the scholarship program has awarded 367 scholarships totaling $1.1 million, helping Northern Nevada students — foster youth especially — reach college, trade school and independence.

All told: $8.86 million invested in Northern Nevada children and families.

We're proud to put our design, print and signage behind that work this year.

Two ways to help:

→ Watch for the Denim Drive. It returns this fall, and new jeans, shoes and essentials go straight to kids entering foster care. Easiest possible way in.

→ Give or get involved. renorodeofoundation.org

About the FootPRINT Fund: each year Allegra Reno awards marketing dollars — design, print, signage and mail — to Northern Nevada nonprofits whose work deserves to be seen by more people. Know an organization that belongs on next year's list? Tell us in the comments.

Congratulations to Reno Rodeo Foundation Student Support Scholarship recipient — Eddie Mills! 🎉

A 2026 graduate of Carson High School, Eddie earned a $500 Reno Rodeo Foundation Student Support Scholarship as she prepares to continue her education at Truckee Meadows Community College, where she plans to pursue welding and metal fabrication.

Through Carson High’s Agricultural Mechanics program and involvement in FFA, Eddie has developed a strong passion for welding and skilled-trade education. She has also earned certifications including OSHA 10 and Agricultural Mechanics course completion credentials, building a strong foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Beyond the classroom, Eddie has dedicated her time to giving back through volunteer work supporting preschool students and local community outreach efforts. She has also persevered through personal and financial hardships at home while remaining focused on her education and future.

Inspired by years spent watching her father work in body and collision shops, Eddie hopes to build a career in welding and fabrication while continuing to expand her technical skills and experience in the trades.

Eddie’s resilience, determination, work ethic, and commitment to building a future through skilled-trade education reflect the values of the Reno Rodeo Foundation Student Support Scholarship. We are proud to support her as she takes the next step toward her goals.

Congratulations, Eddie! Your Reno Rodeo family is cheering you on every step of the way! 🤠
