The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the availability of low‑interest federal disaster loans to Nevada businesses, private nonprofits and residents to offset physical and economic losses from the Bug and Hawk Fires occurring Aug. 8 – Sept. 9. The SBA issued a disaster declaration in response to a request from Governor Joe Lombardo on Sept. 9.

The declaration covers the Nevada counties of Carson City, Churchill, Humboldt, Lyon, Pershing, Storey, and Washoe.
