All week our Washoe County School District Intervention Department friends have been stopping by to pick up items for students that are finishing strong.
Here are a couple that stopped by today. One of them gets to attend five different school graduations. How exciting!

It’s a great day for hanging out with our besties. That probably always means lifting and loading for our high school students in need.
Thank you The 1701 Group for another food delivery. And, thank you Eddy House for a bit of unloading help! . 💪
Let’s give a shout out to our besties!

As the first year of the Youth Ride Free program comes to a close, we want to share some of the stories of the positive impact this program has had on our students. Thank you Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County - RTC for your continued partnership!
"Our campus has easy access to multiple routes, so we use the buses frequently as part of teaching community navigation and independent travel skills. Many of our students rely on RTC as their primary means of transportation during these lessons. Currently, some of our students do not have smartphones. The pass card with the QR code that RTC provided has been incredibly helpful for those students. They simply hold the card up to the scanner, and it works seamlessly every time. It has made boarding quick, accessible, and stress-free. The system has been working wonderfully for our students, and the experience overall has been extremely positive. Thank you for providing tools that help make public transportation more accessible for young people." - Mrs. C, Sparks High School
