We’ve been getting a lot of calls, asking if it’s time to spray. Obviously, if you’re having any early pests such as box, elder bugs, Elm, beetle, or MC, beetles, then, yes. We want to remove as much of the adult population as possible in order to spray. but the spray does not act as a preventative. If you’ve been getting regular maintenance sprays, then we recommend waiting until your regular scheduled service. Here’s a clear wing moth, aka sequoia pitch moth. It cleverly disguised as itself as a yellow jacket but if you look closely, it does not have a stinger and its wings are clear. This is what causes damage to eat. A variety of pine trees, causing the large pitch masses. At least it’s eggs and the larvae or what girdle a tree.
