It was a good day on the track today!! After a tough mile race earlier in the indoor season. I ended the indoor season with an Age Group Facility Record for 35-39 with a 4:42:21. This got me thinking what could i do if I actually trained for it. Indoor 2027 I’m coming for ya!! Congrats to all the runners out there today!! Such a good time!! 🤙

.vulcano 40k sky race played as the NACAC Sky Running Championship this year in Mexico. It was so much fun to see a new place and be able to explore the volcanoes during the race. It brought for some tough and challenging running at high altitudes, but man was it a blast!!! As the team leader I was super excited about the amazing athletes we brought onto the team. We had 4 podium finishes and I couldn’t have been more proud of them for what they all accomplished out there. Thank you guys for a memorable trip. Now time to think about Sky running world championships next year and how we can improve on our 4th place finish out of 41 countries from last year, which was no joke, but I know as this sport continues to grow in the U.S. we are going to crush at the highest level.

What an amazing experience!!! It truly was the Super Bowl of ultra running. I didn’t have the race I hoped for but so happy to get the finish and get the experience needed for the future. In the moment I said I am not doing this again but gave it a day and ideas of what I could do differently in training had me ready to come back for more. I will be back but when I don’t know. As always thanks for the support . Now time to put this one behind me and onto the Continental Sky Running Championships!

28k did not disappoint!! This was a great training race as I prepare for OCC. Stoked to get on another UTMB race podium!! I had some issues this morning with stomach and diarrhea. I felt it all through the race and managed to keep things together. I was sitting in 3rd place all day and with everything going on, I faded to 4th in the last few miles. I wanted that 3rd place but damn I’m just happy that I podiumed on such a tough ass mountain race with some amazing competition!! Shoutout to and for such a great race!! It was awesome to share a podium with you guy’s! Shoutout to for the training! Specificity is 🔑 and it’s showing!!

Continental Sky Running Championship

Something in my gut said take this trip across the country for my race and see my family. I’m so glad that I did. I didn’t know that it would be the last time I would see my grandpa, but I’m so happy I got to see him one last time. Memories of all the great fishing trips are what I’ll remember and these old ass photos my mom found. Love you and miss you Grandpa!

Stoked on the weekend at !! I was able to get on the podium in the 25k with some truly amazing dudes in the sport. From USA trail team guys like and to 100 miler beast . And big shoutout to Reno bro for crushing his first trail 25k. Kept a honest and fast pace and never seen them again after the first mile haha. Shoutout to with the training plan and keeping me fit. Finally to my wife for the support on her special 40th birthday weekend. I couldn’t do it without her. Thanks for an awesome race! Next race

The 2025 Race Calendar: The Road to OCC begins!!! This weekend we kick it off at 25k. Then try our luck at a USA Championship team selection race at , Have a little fun in a team event with at 11k, a race simulator 28k at , then head to OCC 55k where I’ll enjoy some beautiful mountains in Switzerland and France!! More to add after that but this is what we have for now. Going to be an awesome season!!
