AGC Fall Leadership Series Kicks off with 25 amazing people. The program consists of 8 training modules focused on strengthening leadership skills, improving communication and advancing team skills. The program is facilitated by Jeffrey Benjamin of BREAKTHROUGH TRAINING.

This week, we had the privilege of hosting AGC-endorsed candidate and Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar for an informative Lunch & Learn focused on election integrity and business licensing reform. Over the past four years, the Secretary of State’s Office has made significant improvements and is working to create even more effective election and business licensing processes for Nevadans.

Extreme heat can turn dangerous quickly, especially on the jobsite. Protect your crew by following OSHA’s heat-safety guidance:
💧 Provide plenty of cool water
⏸️ Take frequent rest breaks
⛱️ Use shaded or air-conditioned recovery areas
🌡️ Adjust workloads and schedules when necessary
👷 Allow new and returning workers time to acclimatize
🤝 Watch coworkers for signs of heat illness
Confusion, fainting or seizures may signal heat stroke—call 911 immediately.

Last Thursday, members of the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) hit the banks of the Truckee River for their bi-annual Adopt-A-Spot River Cleanup with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful! Braving the summer heat, this hardworking crew gave their time and energy to help preserve one of our region’s most treasured natural resources.

Their dedication to environmental stewardship and community pride is what makes a real difference — thank you to everyone who participated!
