It’s official. Our new logo for Iconic Mobile Detail. I’m really happy with it. I worked with a graphic artist from a freelancer site I’ve used in the past. He did a great job.

I’ve always loved cars. Growing up it was the classic “American Muscle Car”, formula 1 race cars & Datsun (Nissan) 710B & 240Z. Now it’s broader. Than it was in my youth. My son loves csrs as well. We watch YouTube videos, play with his die cast csrs, we go to events and shows, like Hot August Nights coming up here in Reno in a couple of months.

I was lucky enough to own a 1975 Camaro and then a 1977 Datsun 240Z. neither one of them was in great mechanical shape, but I did restore the interior on both and kept them waxed and polished as well.

I believe cars are an extension of our homes. Not everyone thinks that way, and that’s ok. I love it when I get in my car and it’s clean, inside and out, or when I look at it and is not covered tree sap, soot, grime and doesn’t have blemishes all over the body. It just makes me feel good. I find myself just standing there admiring it, with s smile and. nodding my head. At least that’s what I’ve been told by my 10 year old. It doesn’t always look like that, but that’s what makes detailing cars so great. It’s that feeling when it does.

I also love it when I can see someone open their car door or walk up on their car after iconic has finished. That smile and head-nod is all I need.
