Sarah’s parents told her she could have any vehicle she wanted, as long as she paid for it. She worked after school, saved her money and bought a 1977 Ford on eBay from California in 2015.

Amber-Rose has owned classic Minis, including the 1994 Rover Mini she bought at 17. But when she found a 1968 Ford called Florence, she knew she wanted something different.

She bought Florence in 2026. The memory she chose to share is a road trip with her children and their dog, followed by McDonald’s in the back of the truck. It happened before they had to say goodbye to their pup, which makes that ordinary family outing something she holds onto.

That is how Trish describes her 1979 Ford. When she and Tom decided to get married, she wanted an old Ford instead of a wedding or a wedding ring. This one would be hers.

Tom spent nine months bringing two trucks together. Their agreement: they would not get married until they could drive it to the wedding.
