Eight years ago, April and I opened The Urban Deli with a dream and a lot of hope.

What we found was something far greater than a business.

We found you.

Over the years, you've welcomed us into your lunch breaks, office meetings, celebrations, family gatherings, and everyday routines. You've shared your stories with us, introduced us to friends and coworkers, recommended us to neighbors, and trusted us to be part of your lives.

Many of you walked through our doors as customers.

Many of you leave as friends.

Today, we have some bittersweet news to share.

This will be The Urban Deli's final week.

While we're excited for the next chapter of our family's journey, saying goodbye to this chapter—and to the daily interactions we've treasured for the past eight years—is incredibly difficult.

The Urban Deli was never just sandwiches.

It was conversations across the counter.
It was seeing familiar faces walk through the door.
It was watching families grow, celebrating milestones, and becoming a small part of this community we love.
