Meet the Team: Kris

If you've ever visited Tech Med, chances are Kris was the first person to welcome you through the door with a smile.

While she may be the only non-medical member of our team, she's no stranger to emergency services. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Kris brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and professionalism to everything she does.

From keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly to supporting our crews behind the scenes, her impact reaches far beyond the front desk. She's an essential part of the Tech Med family and helps ensure our team can focus on delivering exceptional care to our communities.

Fun fact: Before joining Tech Med, Kris was a K-9 handler during her career as a Police Officer and while in the Air Force.

For the fourth year in a row, Tech Med was proud to serve as the medical support team for Victory Loop.

This incredible three-day off-road adventure brings together participants from across the region to explore the rugged landscapes of Northern Nevada, build lasting connections, and support a cause bigger than themselves.

Hosted at Walker River State Park, Victory Loop raises funds for Nevada-based charities that serve Veterans and First Responders, with 100% of participant entry fees going directly back into the community.

Preparedness is a critical part of patient care.

Before every transport, our crews carefully inspect, check, and stock each ambulance to ensure the equipment and supplies needed for patient care are ready to go. This attention to detail helps us provide safe, reliable service and allows our teams to focus on what matters most, our patients.

At Tech Med, every transfer begins with a commitment to readiness, responsibility, and exceptional care.

An ambulance ride can be a scary experience, especially for a child.

That's why our crews keep small stuffed animals on our units for some of our youngest patients. While it may seem like a simple gesture, a comforting friend can make a big difference during an unfamiliar and stressful moment.

At Tech Med, caring for our patients goes beyond medical treatment. It's about compassion, comfort, and helping all our patients, even our smallest ones, feel cared for when they need it most.

Teamwork is essential when every minute matters.

Tech Med is proud to partner with Intermountain Health and our air medical teams to help ensure patients receive seamless, high-quality care during critical transfers. Through strong coordination and communication, our crews help bridge the gap between air and ground transport, keeping patient care at the center of every mission.
