Our 4-Hers did a great job today at the North Central District 4-H Poultry and Rabbit Show! Viviane Austin showed chickens and did amazing as a cloverbud! She had her chicken dressed up as little red riding hood for the costume class.
Then we had Mariyah Atha who showed her rabbit. She placed 3rd in the junior showmanship class. She had her bunny dressed as a princess for the costume class. Mariyah also placed 2nd in 8-10 year old rabbit record book.
So proud of both of these ladies!

Tap, Swipe & Create was a lot of fun today! Our kids learned some new things on the iPad such as creating their own emoji, stickers and personifying a picture. They also had fun animating a drawing. We are looking forward to Curious Cooks and Onshape the rest of this week after the District 4-H poultry and rabbit show tomorrow.

What an amazing 1st week of 4-H Summer Adventures. Today we took a trip to the Qubein Children's Museum and it was a blast! The 4-Hers were interactive with all of the exhibits...everything from riding the carousel to the STEAM Lab. This was a place that we will definitely visit again! Next week we have Tap Swipe & Create, Curious Cooks and Onshape!

Thank you to everyone who donated to the 4-H Youth Council's book drive. It was very successful with multiple boxes donated. All books have been distributed around the county into Little Libraries. This was just in time for summer reading!
