Some spaces just get me excited the moment I walk in. This supply room was one of them!! ✨

First things first, clear the walkway. You have to be able to move through the space before anything else happens.

Then we got into it. Clear the boxes, figure out what’s staying, create zones so everything has a home, and label everything so it actually stays that way.

My amazing client has a fully functional, organized supply room now. Magical makeover complete. ❤️

This is a great word to describe the process of organizing. ✨

"Declutter" can sometimes feel heavy. "Overhaul" sounds exhausting. But we can all edit! Don't think of it as "getting rid of stuff", you're just editing to highlight what you love.

A good edit might take an hour. But honestly, sometimes it only takes twenty minutes. What space in your home could use an edit this week?

This client’s space was working overtime. Entry, living area, play space, and mom’s office all in one. Walking through it felt stressful for my client.

The first thing we did wasn’t to organize: We rearranged!

The rowing machine was sitting right in the middle of everything, cutting the room in half and collecting whatever got set on it. We moved it behind the desk and scooted the desk forward just enough to accommodate it. That one shift totally changed how the room could be used, and allowed us to start the real work of organizing.

Sometimes, when you get used to seeing an object every day, you can forget that it’s there and that you have options for where it gets to live. Bringing in a pro can help give you a new perspective on your home!

The part about decision fatigue is so real. One of my favorite things about this work is being able to come in and take that mental load off of someone. You shouldn't have to do it all by yourself.

This spot near the fridge had become a drop zone my client had to walk past every single day. It was on both sides of the doorway, and some of it had been there for years. No time like the present to dig in and see what’s in there!

What a relief. Almost everything was trash, recycling, or shredding. Now she can easily access the doorway and isn’t feeling stressed every time she looks at it.

The client feels physically lighter now that the weight of all of this is gone! ❤️✨ Sometimes all it takes is an hour or two.

I needed this reminder today.☀️

We fill our schedules the same way we fill our spaces, and before we know it there's no room left to just...exist. But making space for nothing is so important!

And by the way, you don't have to earn a slow morning. But sometimes you have to decide on a day to make sure it actually happens.

This client’s guest bedroom had become a place where random objects went to be forgotten. She wanted to reclaim this room, and we gave it a whole new purpose that works better for her lifestyle: a combo exercise/office space.

Here’s how we got there:

👉 Step 1: Identified and pulled out anything that was trash or didn’t belong.

👉 Step 2: Categorized everything that was staying.

👉 Step 3: Created zones so everything has a home and is easy to find and grab.

The drop zone days are over. 😄

Froze it, tried to scrape it, thought I was done. I was not. 🙃

So I grabbed an iron on low heat and sandwiched the tablecloth between two sheets of parchment paper, one on top, one underneath, and slowly ironed over it.

The wax transfers right onto the parchment and lifts right out of the fabric.

Tablecloth saved!!
