Years ago, during Su***de Prevention Week, we shared a simple question with our community—an invitation to reflect, to speak, to be seen. Lately, it’s been sitting with us again.

As we navigate through all the noise & fragility, it feels like this is the right moment to bring these notes back. A moment to stand together in care for those who are hurting, overwhelmed, or trying to make sense of a world that can feel unbearably chaotic. When so many may feel powerless—like there’s nothing we can do—this is one small thing we can do: show up for one another. Even a few honest words can be an offering of connection, a reminder that we’re not alone.

So starting tomorrow, we invite you to write a note at the shop—in solidarity, in reflection, in recognition of the dignity and worth that makes us human.

The question is simple:
What’s something you wish people understood about being human? Or about you?

Tomorrow, while many businesses are closing for the national shutdown, we’ve made the difficult decision to stay open — not because we dismiss the purpose of collective action, but because as a small business we also face the real weight of economic survival. We stand in solidarity against ICE and with those calling for justice and systemic reform. We also recognize that small businesses are often the ones asked to sacrifice the most — financially and emotionally — in moments like these.

Rather than closing our doors, we’re choosing a creative alternative: to stay open and offer this space as a place for people to gather, reflect, and stand together in solidarity. We continue the quiet work of staying present despite the chaos.

We invite everyone to support small businesses who choose to stay open by using cash only. A portion of our ice drink sales will be donated to an organization working toward reform at a systemic level — because the only ICE we want around here is in your drink ☕️🧊

As always, thank you for staying present with Corridor Flow through every cultural moment — the heavy ones and the hopeful ones. We remain committed to standing in the liminal space as a coffee shop, where we dare to believe human dignity can flourish.
