Today with heavy hearts we are mourning the passing of Gordon Graham; an inspiring, giant of a man. Gordon was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was the most loyal friend and mentor to countless people in every walk of life. As Gordon would say, he is off to his next adventure, and he expects the rest of us to stay "in the game."

We will keep people posted on opportunities to express love to Gordon's family. The family will likely have their own services, and sometime in the coming months we will plan a remembrance befitting such an incredible human being.

“Use your head!” vs. “Have a heart!”
It’s an ongoing leadership argument, and no matter your opinion, there’s an educated, meaningful argument for the other side. The more you love your business, your work, your people, your mission, the harder it is to make decisions with your head. The more rational, logical, data-driven you tend to be, the more frequently people believe you to be missing emotion.

I’m here to tell you, the most successful leaders have both, and know exactly when to use them. Successful leaders choose the head or heart at the right time, in spite of the scrutiny it may bring. Building TRUST. It sounds simple, but it’s not. Often called the foundation of any great relationship or team, trust is an elusive concept. We know it when we see it.
