🌹 Rose Tinted Glasses: An animated film created by students through the WANIC Skill Center Programs at DigiPen Academy in 2026.

Inspired by the theme “Everything Has a Cost,” the film follows Charles, who owns a pair of glasses that places him in a video game world that makes him happy. His happiness turns into an addiction that ends up ruining his apartment and eventually himself.

This student-created project showcases the work of a talented team of WANIC student creators: Pax, Vaunn, Lizzie, Ari, Dylan, and Aj.

🎉 Congratulations to WANIC Skill Center alumna Rosemary Cooper for winning 1st Place in the VFX Category of Blizzard Entertainment's 2025 World of Warcraft Student Art Contest!

Her award-winning visual effects piece, Sanguine Strike, impressed judges with its stunning blood-magic effects inspired by the fantasy world of Azeroth. World of Warcraft is one of the world's most popular online role-playing games, known for its rich lore, epic adventures, and immersive worlds.

We're also excited to celebrate fellow DigiPen Institute of Technology student Supasorn Chantavichitwong, who earned Runner-Up in the Character Art Category for her entry, King Wilfert Flemming IV. Together, these achievements showcase the incredible talent and creativity of DigiPen's artists.

🌿 I Wish You Well: An animated film created by students through the WANIC Skill Center Programs at DigiPen Academy in 2026.

Inspired by Grimm fairy tales and the theme "Everything Has a Cost," the story follows two brothers, one of whom is very ill. Determined to save his younger sibling, the older brother faces a difficult sacrifice in a tale of love, loss, and consequence.

This student-created project showcases the creativity and storytelling skills of a talented team of young creators.

Students explore how game soundtracks and sound effects are actually made through music theory, sound design, and collaborative game projects.
