The 1x6 Joto-Vent Reinforcement Block is made for high vertical load points where extra bearing support is needed. For 2x6 Joto-Vent, there is no dedicated block, but an insert block can be added in the anchor hole to increase load capacity when needed. In both cases, final selection and placement should be reviewed by the engineer of record.

Joto-Vent comes in two thickness options, and each one offers different benefits for ventilation and installation. The 1x6 option is a good fit for perimeter venting and can also support WUI requirements with the right covering. The 2x6 option provides more vent area and can make installation easier while helping balance performance and cost.
