Ed have just published his 34th book, Shipwreck Treasures, Incan Gold, and Living on Ice - A Celebration of 50 years of Adventures. The adventures include sailing across the Pacific Ocean in a ketch, spending a winter in Antarctica, and globe-trotting to find the next great exhibition for museums he directed. Here is a lively read and one that will inspire young explorers to hit the trail. Ed served as Chapter Chair for over a decade and am a Fellow Emeritus of the EC.

Swarming Polychaete worms surrounded us on our recent night dives on the Curacao Reef Acoustics Expedition. What we saw were the sexually mature worm that morph from a benthic form when the lunar phase is right. Watching this occur I thought the worms exploded. The worms shake the eggs free and the body falls down to the reef.
