Stryker Car Show 2026

I was able to obtain an otherwise abandoned 2017 Toyota Mirai in Seattle Washington. After having been somehow transferred from Southern California to a Salem, Oregon VW dealership, they attempted to resell this vehicle to three semi local persons between Portland and Wenatchee, Washington. Its final destination was a seemingly uninformed buyer's driveway in South Seattle and left to rot with 4 miles remaining estimated in the tank. I purchased the vehicle after several weeks of lowball tactics, had it towed to Redmond where I planned its strange new future. I was able to personally U-Haul the vehicle all the way to Vancouver, BC Canada, 135 miles north, refuel and return using my gas guzzling 2000 GMC Yukon XL with 514,000 miles on the odometer. For an economy car it cost nearly $500 to replenish the hydrogen fuel reserve between rental fees, gasoline, oil and time. From there I was able to clean it up, making it presentable enough to bring it to the largest exotic and rare auto show on the West Coast, Exotics at Redmond Town Center. From here we will see what I can make of it, and perhaps the Wenatchee Douglas County public utilities district hydrogen vehicle refueling station might reopen someday…?
