Stepping into the Messy Middle

I’ve updated my LinkedIn profile to better reflect the work I actually love doing—interim leadership, systems fixes, role design, and helping teams stabilize through change.
Bower Operational Management, at its core, is about this:

Graduation is around the corner! I will be graduating with my MBA is Organizational Leadership on June 14th!! Go Beavs!
Holy moly! Just made it through my most difficult term yet…and by the skin of my teeth for one course. I came into this term hearing that this course was the hardest, tried to drop it and take it in the spring but found out it was now or I would have to put off graduating. So….I tried as hard as I could and passed it! Not my best grade but still a B! Working full time, taking three Masters courses, running a business and being a wife and mom took its toll this term😂. However, I am taking a few weeks to be present and spend time with my family and I am so happy to do just that. Two terms left and I will graduate with my MBA in Organizational Leadership and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead!

Having tough conversations…is tough! But if you don’t have those conversations, then things fester and work environments get toxic. Being able and willing to have those conversations is some thing that I have worked hard on over the years! What is one thing that you are working on to better yourself as a leader?
What a summer! Taking my son to college, renovating a home office, and enjoying sunshine! Now, it’s time to get down to business…final year of my MBA, Trauma Informed Care trainings scheduled, and designing an internship program for a client! Let’s go!!!
