This homegrown tomato blocking out my view has way more gravitational pull than whatever the moon is attempting right now. Who needs totality when you’ve got vine-ripened perfection? 🍅☀️

A few fresh blooms to start the week!🌻

The branching sunflower just pushed out two brand new flowers, and the single-stem variety finally opened up its main bloom today.

Having two different types in the same bed has been such a fun experiment. With the active aeration from the EnGrow bed feeding oxygen directly to the root zone, both plants are staying so thick, healthy, and vibrant.

2 month tomato update!🍅

We’ve got green tomatoes popping up everywhere in all different sizes right now, plus endless yellow flowers that are just starting to turn (including that little half-flower, half-tomato moment haha).🌿

We filled these beds with KIS Organics living soil, and paired with the EnGrow bed’s ability to deliver high levels of oxygen straight to the roots, the plant growth has been incredible.

None of them have turned red quite yet, but with this many blooms setting, everyone I know better be ready to receive a bag of tomatoes every single time I see them!😉

A tale of two sunflowers 🌻

I planted two different varieties in this bed, and seeing how each one develops side-by-side has been so fun.

On the left, we have a branching variety. The main flower is officially larger than my hand 🖐️, and now it’s starting to push out a whole wave of secondary buds lower on the stalk. Plus, we got a visit from a green darner dragonfly!🦋✨

On the right is a classic single-stem variety. It focused all its energy into pure height, thick stalk strength, and one massive central bud that’s just about ready to open.

We filled these beds with KIS Organics living soil, which is packed with rich biology. Sunflowers are super heavy feeders, so combining great living soil with active aeration makes a huge difference. Keeping oxygen flowing straight to the root zone keeps all those soil microbes thriving and making nutrients available!
