Express Tailoring

We are looking for an experienced tailor/seamstress for our tailoring center located in Redlands. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Flexible hours.

Express Tailoring is a local, family-owned business that cares deeply for its employees and customers. We work closely with our customers to ensure the proper fit, marking, altering, and pressing of garments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To make adjustments to men’s and women’s clothing. Including, but not limited to:
Shorten/lengthen sleeves
Taper sides of garments
Lower collars
Take in/out trouser waist
Shorten/lengthen pants
Taper trouser thighs and foot widths
Wedding dress modifications

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in alterations
Thorough knowledge of basic machines used in alterations
Proficient in sewing and making garments
Keen sense of color perception and fabric types
