TUESDAY March 24- Evening Speaker Series

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer science fiction—it is in our pockets, our homes, and our workplaces. But what exactly are AI and Machine Learning, and how are they reshaping our daily lives?

This engaging, non-technical talk will break down the buzzwords into simple terms. We will explore how AIhelps us with everything from curating our news feeds to assisting in healthcare, while also addressing important questions about privacy and bias. Whether you are curious about ChatGPT, worried about the future of work, or simply want to understand how machines "learn" from data, this session will provide you with the confidence and knowledge to navigate the evolving digital world.

Key Takeaways:
* Simple Definitions: Understanding the difference between AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
* Everyday AI: Recognizing how you already use AI in your daily routines.
* Empowerment & Ethics: How to use AI tools wisely and why diverse perspectives matter in developing future technology.

Trish Cornez currently serves as the Director of Computer Science at University of Redlands. With a career spanning several shifts in the software development and tech worlds, she has literally "written the book" on building software—authoring titles on both ActionScript and Android Development. Today, Trish spends her time teaching and exploring the world of AI and Machine Learning, with a passion for making these complex technologies accessible and understandable for everyone.

Some more information about our performance at our Spring Luncheon on Monday- register now for you and your special guests!

The Inland Empire Chorus is an energetic and fun-loving group of women who are passionate about singing four-part a ca****la harmony! We have served the community for over 70 years by providing musical entertainment, education, and community programming. Our chorus is a part of Region 21 of Sweet Adelines International, a highly respected worldwide organization of women singers. We compete in our Region 21 contest every spring, and most recently placed third in the small chorus category! Our director Janey Krall, as well as several members of our chorus, recently attended Sweet Adeline's International competition in Columbus, Ohio to see the best quartets and choruses from around the world, and bring their education and energy back home! We were busy this last Christmas season singing for luncheons and community events. We are in the thick of preparations for our 2026 regional contest in Phoenix, Arizona.

Love to sing? Come check us out! New director, new music. A wonderful time to visit!
As a member of our chorus, you will belong to a worldwide family of friends who value the joy of singing chord-ringing, fun-filled harmony. Come join us and be amazed by the unlimited opportunities and once-in-a-lifetime experiences you will find.
