“Fall” here in Southern California means temps in the 100s, but the gardens are still full of beautiful color and trying to hold on.
We may not have crisp fall weather just yet (I’d love to see beautiful fall trees 🍂 and enjoy a hot apple c***r). What is fall looking like where you live? Feel free to DM a pic!

Most public gardens teach through plant labels and collections. Chanticleer does something different. It was designed to be experienced, with horticulturists given the freedom to approach the garden as artists, experiment, and take creative risks.
Dan will take us inside that creative approach and share the ideas, details, and horticultural thinking that make Chanticleer so distinctive.

Turn Winter White into Garden Delight with Snowdrops
Snowdrops are winter’s bravest bloom—tiny but unstoppable. They generate their own warmth, pushing through frozen soil and snow to flower when gardens are still asleep. Plant them once, and each late winter they’ll multiply into shimmering drifts of white, announcing spring’s return. For beauty when you need it most, nothing feels more magical—or hopeful—than snowdrops.

Blooming from late summer into fall, they bring fresh color to the garden when many other flowers are beginning to fade. They’re especially beautiful woven through grasses and other late-season perennials, where those clouds of little flowers really stand out.
