It was a beautiful day for art, music, and flowers 💐 it was so nice and warm that even my pop up tent couldn’t keep me out of the sun until the final hour 😅 There was a steady stream of people stopping by to ask about my art, the meaning behind it, and the materials I use. I really appreciate anyone who takes their time looking closely at my original pieces and I’m always pleasantly surprised when they decide to take one home ❤️ after a bumpy start getting back to markets this year, this weekend has given me a nice motivation boost to keep going.

Looking back at this piece always reminds me how fun and relaxing it is to work with watercolors. I especially love any metallic, shimmery paint and these show up surprisingly well!
