As a young man learning about life, and his place in the world. I spent an afternoon in Palm Springs watching the Angels play the A’s in an exhibition game that featured a unique detail. The ⚾️ baseball was Orange. It was a special day as a young baseball fan I spent the day collecting autographs from all my heroes on both teams. For several innings I sat next to Vida Blue, who spoke to me, not as a child, but as person who has thoughts and opinions about life, baseball and autograph collecting. He treated me with some respect, probably the first man of color to do so. I’m devastated by the news of his passing, he was fiercely competitive and shared with me some wisdom that I often think about 50 years later. 😢😢😢 🪦

WHO is behind the DATA you consume? Context, relevance, motive?? WHO benefits from the release of any data? Be skeptical, proceed with caution. (IMHO) most DATA IS 💩and needs to approached with a very long stick so you don’t get any on you.
