A little piece of Connecticut is making its way to the Capital District this fall. 🍎

Many of you know that I’ve been hosting Candle Bar workshops at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards in Connecticut for a few years.

This autumn, I’ll also be bringing Candle Bar to Goold Hill Estate in Castleton-on-Hudson, New York.

This one feels especially meaningful because I grew up in the area. Returning to the Albany area to share something I’ve built with my own hands feels a bit like coming full circle.

And if you’ve ever experienced autumn in the Northeast, you know exactly why I’m so excited.

Apple orchards. Crisp air. Changing leaves. Cider. Vineyards. Long afternoons spent with family and friends.

For me, this isn’t a trend. It’s the way I’ve always lived.

I’ve always loved handmade things, old recipes, well-loved books, pressed flowers, and the feeling of slowing down long enough to connect with another person in a meaningful way.

That’s why I created Letters from Laura.

Each month, I send a real letter filled with stories, recipes, ideas, and a small handmade surprise because I believe some things are simply better when they’re held in your hands.
