Countywide 4-H Meat Goats

Our breeding project is going well! If you are looking for nice wethers or does for the up coming shows. The kids have decided which ones to sell. They have 3 wethers and 3 doelings they have learned a lot including genetics prenatal care delivery and raising bottle babies too. If you would like to purchase one wethers currently weight between 26 and 40 pounds and 3 weeks to 2 months old $200 each and fullblood or pure blood doelings are $200 to $300

It is February and it feels really warm!!! We have been working with the new crop of bs use and getting ready for more to arrive!

Countywide had a great year! We had several members place high in the shows Agee starting the breeding project and some younger siblings got a taste of showing in the primary division. If you are want learn about goats and your club doesn't have a goat project. We will be meeting in September!! Send me a pm and I will get you all the information!!

Just a reminder! Today is the last day to register for field day and Ethics training to go to county fair and state fair! field day is May 7th😄. After that is the fuzzy furry Goat Show!!

You are welcome to come to the Best in the West goat show this Saturday. Meet breeders and bring your showmanship goat and enter $4.00 the class will be late morning but you need to be signed up by 8 Am. It is at the Red Bluff Fair grounds

Several of the goat members have doelings for sale. This year was a bumper crop of doe kids. We are getting pictures tomorrow and putting them up for sale here. There will be full bloods and percentages

Good morning! It is a new 4-H year!! If you are wanting to learn about goats and your club doesn't have a goat project. You are welcome here. Countywide goats is cooking lunch at Hawes this weekend from 10 am to 2 pm! Please come and help!!! This will fund our fair!
