Thank you Carry the Load for allowing us to join in restoring the true meaning of Memorial Day during this years National Relay! This year I joined in remembering 2 of my fallen brothers.

Don’t forget today at 12:30 starts our first of many veteran lunches in the back of the caf! All vets eat free! Bring your family and come meet all the veterans around Simpson! We are in the back of the caf, sun room until 1400!

Four more days until we honor our Class of 2020 graduates with a special virtual ceremony that will air "live" at 10 a.m. Saturday! These 260 women and men from our undergraduate and graduate programs have pushed through the extraordinary challenges of this year to reach this milestone, and we could not be more proud of them.

The online ceremony will follow the structure of an in-person commencement with introductions, speakers, special music, and presentation of the graduates. Watch for a link and join us in watching, cheering and praying for these new SU alumni!

Simpson University had the opportunity to join Carry The Load 4 weeks ago today on the Redding leg of their walk for those who are unable to be with us today. Carry The Load represents not only fallen military members, but also fire fighter, police, and other first responders that have the ultimate sacrifice and they completed their nationwide journey today.

We remembered those who are no longer here and our own Chris Peterson walked for his dearly missed friend, David Chandler. David is counted among the 22 a day that commit su***de. We thank 22Kill for their support and recognition of those that never quite came home at the end of their service, today is also a day for them.
