I hope you are having a wonderful Friday, and that you are looking forward to the weekend. I have just been slowly working on my current project and I am thinking about an April release date for the book. I have also been contemplating what I want to do after I am done. Maybe a chapter book series? Or another picture book? I’m not sure yet. As a side project, I have been working on a middle grade novel; we will see what becomes of it. Only time will tell. Here is my little triceratops from Prehistoric Pizza enjoying a slice of pizza pie!

What have you been reading lately? 📚 What is your favorite book ever? I would say, one of my favorite picture books is The Jolly Postman, but I also enjoy a good mystery or middle grade book!

Here is a before and after of one of my illustrations from my book, Prehistoric Pizza! When I finish an illustration, it is always fun to look at the sketch again to see how far the image has come. The Legend of the Candy Cane is a wonderful, Christian, Christmas story. I love how it combines a regular Christmas story with the birth of Jesus. It also has beautiful illlustrations! Written by Lori Walburg, illustrated by I love sharing books that I enjoy. 💗
