Used Borders Made Easy- adhesive edged patterns, and 2-sided fusible fleece. Started w my darning/embroidery foot and no feeddogs- practicing; but, then I tried w a regular pressure foot and feeddogs and liked it better. 🙂

A couple of extra tools 🧰 ⚒️ used to sew these products. 🫣 One is the guide bar and the other one, the blue pointy … not quite sure 🫣 Anyway, I like the end products- reversible, versatile, functional…😉 Fun sunflowers 🌻 🌻

A dear friend ordered a couple of items with this fabric duo. I think it turned out pretty cute. Thankful.🙂Hopefully my friend will think so too. 🫣

Mending order to shorten 8 pairs of pants, quite a few were jeans. Used topstitching thread (30m) for top stitch and bobbin was regular thread (regular, lighter weight (250m). Used a longer stitch length to compensate for the weightier top thread. Had a problem w the top thread fraying. Stopped and got a good strand going again. Made long tails before cutting, so could tie off and hide thread tails.

Installed a pink #5 molded plastic jacket zipper in a plushie pink robe. Zipper’s from WAWAK.COM. They have a good selection. Zipper was placed the old fashioned way (which still works); however, zipper tape is recommended. I just didn’t have any.🙃 Zipper installation these days just doesn’t seem complete without adding a cute charm— the finishing touch.🍓😍 (I forgot I had my old, tattered, gray sweatshirt on, just feeling comfortable🫣)
