THE CREATURES ARE COMING OUT.
Redding Creators invites you to Creature Feature, a classic Halloween photo meetup and costume contest inspired by vintage monsters, movie icons, and the characters we grew up with. Think Dracula, Elvira, the Munsters, the Wizard of Oz, and your favorite silver screen spooks.

On October 11, Redding Creators is taking over Dreams of Darkness, the Best Haunted Experience in Northern California.
And for four hours, 3,000+ square feet of horror becomes a playground for creativity.
Bring the cameras. Bring the costumes. Bring the cosplay. Bring the characters. Bring the makeup, the SFX, and the weird ideas you’ve been waiting for an excuse to create.

Redding Creators is partnering with the Sundial Film Festival to give three photographers the opportunity to step inside the event and capture what makes it come alive, from candid moments and behind the scenes action to filmmakers, actors, and creative energy throughout the evening.

All experience levels are welcome to apply. This is a completely voluntary, unpaid, and collaborative opportunity created to offer hands on experience, portfolio development, community connection, and the possibility of future creative opportunities.
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection or future participation. Applicants who are not selected may be placed on a waitlist or considered for future opportunities.

We’re stepping into something a little different.
Redding Creators is teaming up with Plantable Nursery & Café for an experience built around creating, connecting, experimenting, and seeing what grows when different kinds of creatives share the same space.
Photographers • Models • Videographers •Painters + Illustrators • Content Creators • and anyone else looking for a place to create.
Bring your camera. Bring your sketchbook. Bring your paints. Bring a concept you’ve been wanting to try, or show up with absolutely no plan and find one when you get there.
No assignments. No experience requirement. Just a beautiful space, a community of creatives, and a few hours to make something.
