Not the weekend we were looking for. Monday was super fast, he and Jimmy Cabrerra from the US team were fast. Monday P1 in warmup, went out for qualifying, host track transponder died on us, no time and ended up last in a field of 102 karts. 5 heats not progressive, so we started dead last each race in a 34/35 kart field. Just couldn't dig out of that deep of a hole, maybe would have made, but heat 5 after pasing half the field we tossed a chain in the chicain. We packed it in and skipped the non qualifier race. Didn't see the point in damaging a kart for a fun race. Looking back we had the speed, would have qualified 6-8 in our heat. Jimmy drove an awesome event and finished p8, with an American winning the race.
Session 5, kart is good, engine is fast, within couple tenths of fast times. Qualifying tomorrow.
Session 3, running with the fast times now, engine woke up and kart is working better and better each session.
Session one. Look competitive, need to find a bit more in the engine.

Monday back on the track in Davis for round 1 of KPX. Pole for the 225 and first place both days, 206 senior 3 and 6 place finish. Awesome race weekend and excellent event put on by KPX.
