While the farm is blanketed in snow, we wanted to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for coming to the farm stand this year 🙏 hope you’re staying cozy!

SURPRISE!!! While the weather holds and we still are harvesting, we will be open only on SUNDAY, 11/23, at 11 to 3 or so!!!
This will be the first Saturday since Spring that we will not be open.
Margie will be baking galettes, cakes, cookies, sourdough breads, etc., and we are still harvesting 7 different kinds of beautiful greens 🥬

This is probably our last weekend of the season! While the weather holds, we’re open today with the end of the harvest and of course some baked goods 🧑‍🍳 Come by if you have time for one last galette of the year 💙💙

Happy Halloween weekend! 🎃 Looks like beautiful, sunny and colorful farmstand weather. I wish we didn’t have to set clocks back Sunday but if we don’t then we will be late for everything, or no, actually, early for everything. Either way, we are open!! Bakery and gardens still going strong 🪴 Both days open at 11!!

First frost!! We had to move approximately 65 pots of flowers and herbs because the forecast was going to hit 31 or 32. We spent the whole day trying to get as much of our gardens under cover to protect from the frost and freeze coming and successfully protected many of our plants! So—get it while it’s hot (cold?) and hope to see you this weekend!

The leaves are at their deepest green and the gardens are in the last act of the show, with the Fall colors coming soon 🍂🍁 and so we’re rolling out limited pumpkin-maple-orange muffins this weekend!!!

And we started picking our apples! 🍎

Summer is still going! We will have heirloom tomatoes, perfume basil, patty pans, baby bok choy, and a lot of other nice things from the gardens. And of course we will have sourdough breads, galettes, cookies, and more 🍪

It looks like we will be picking heirloom apples soon as well!

We’re doing a garden tour!!! Come join us tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm 🪴🫜 We will meet at the farmstand and then walk and talk as we explore the organic gardens, orchard, and hay fields on what I expect to be a wonderful summer day ☀️

With this week’s blast of cold behind us and the much needed rain now in the thirsty ground, we have an abundance of all kinds and colors of heirloom tomatoes, the most intense and floral basil, potatoes, and all the other kinds of produce and greens that fill our tables. And of course we have bakery delights such as galettes, cookies and the best sourdough breads 🥖🍪

First heirloom tomatoes of the season will be available this weekend!! Also we made a savory galette in a different form and… well, we ate it. And it was delicious. Let me know if you’d want something like this or do you prefer the oval ramekin?

We should have nice weather Saturday, which is part of the beauty of summer. Maybe some rain Sunday afternoon so we will be open as long as it’s not too bad. The heat, the rain and our rich soil practices have been rocket fuel for growing plants so we have all sorts of
lush, beautiful things to eat, to cook, including red and green lettuces, carrots, beets, rainbow chard, green beans, dragon beans, purple beans,
garlic, lacinato kale, basil, yellow zucchini, green zucchini and so on. Lots of different kinds of tomatoes are coming.
Will have galettes, chocolate chip pecan cookies, sourdough breads and baguettes.
