🐰 Staff Pet Spotlight: Bluebell 🐰

Bluebell is a gentle bunny who loves exploring the world one hop at a time.

When he's not out on a hop-about, you'll usually find him enjoying one of his favorite treats—fresh greens. 🥬

🐾 Staff Pet Spotlight: Winnie 🐾

Winnie is an exuberant Lab mix who was rescued off the streets of Redding by Haven Humane Society. Thanks to Haven, she found her way into a loving home with Dr. Evelyn and Jonathan—and she has been making life more entertaining ever since.

Winnie enjoys long walks in the woods, outings to Benton Dog Park and eating as often a hobbit. Her favorite meals include (but are not limited to) breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and supper.

Her enthusiasm for life, adventure, and snacks is matched only by her enthusiasm for the people she loves. We're pretty sure Winnie has never met a stranger—just friends she hasn't convinced to share their food yet.

❤️ We think she's the perfect reminder that sometimes the best family members are the ones who find us.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Jessica 🌟

Jessica has been in the veterinary field for 15 years and recently returned to the profession after taking some time away to raise her family. We’re excited to have her at Redding Veterinary Clinic!

One of Jess’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is building relationships with clients and their pets and knowing she’s making a difference in their lives every day.

When she’s not at the clinic, you can usually find her spending time with her husband and daughters enjoying the outdoors at the park or the lake.

We’re so happy to have Jess as part of the RVC team! 🐾

🐾 Patient Spotlight: Pepsi 🐾

Meet Pepsi — a sweet 4-year-old kitty whose mom says “she is a star,” and honestly… we agree. ⭐

Pepsi comes from a family with a very important naming tradition: all pets must be named after food items that start with the letter “P.” Naturally, her sister is named Pimento, which might be one of the cutest sibling name combinations we’ve ever heard.

Pepsi was an absolute sweetheart during her visit and made fast friends with our team. Thanks for brightening our day, Miss Pepsi!

🐾 Staff Pet Spotlight: Trig 🐾

Trig is a 12-year-old lab and quite possibly the sweetest, most relaxed boy you’ll ever meet. He’s calm, lovable, and always happy to just hang out with his people.

However… if offered a bag of stale, half-eaten chips, there is a very real chance he would sell out his entire family for them. 😂

To be fair, he probably would feel guilty about it afterward… while still actively eating the chips.

We love you anyway, Trig. ❤️

Flea & Tick Season Is Here!

As temperatures warm up, fleas and ticks become much more active — and they’re more than just a nuisance. These parasites can spread disease, cause skin irritation and allergies, transmit tapeworms, and lead to serious health problems for both pets and people.

That’s why year-round parasite prevention is so important.

We’re excited to announce that we are now carrying Bravecto Quantum — a new veterinarian-administered injectable for dogs 6 months and older that provides:

✔ 12 months of continuous flea protection
✔ Tick control with a single dose

No monthly doses to remember and no more struggling with topical applications or chewables.

If you’d like to learn more about whether Bravecto Quantum is right for your dog, give us a call — we’d be happy to help keep your pets protected all year long.
