How funny

Teachers how are you feeling as you wrap up the school year?

Here is a new feature we have added to the AI Math Tutor

We are loving all of the feedback we have recieved so far.

You can use the AI Algebra I Regents Tutor here until June 17th:

As a reminder this is a beta feature meaning it is in the early stages and we have the ability to implement your suggestions and take your feedback into consideration for what the final product will look like.

The AI Tutor is free, with no logins or accounts required. Test it yourself, try it with your students, let us know what what works and what doesn’t work so we can tailor the final product to serve you and your students best.

The review of the June 2025 Algebra I Regents is now live on our website and YouTube. Jeff LaVar, a math teacher at New Rochelle High School, walks through all 35 questions, from the multiple choice section to the six-point final problem.

You'll get the algebra behind every question plus the calculator shortcuts that save time and help you check your work. Whether you're aiming to pass for the first time or push your score higher, this one breaks down the strategies that matter most.

A reminder Jeff repeats throughout: take your time, show your work, and aim for credit on every short answer question.

Feedback we received on the new AI Regents Tutor:

Students have given positive feedback so far. They appreciate the videos and they found it helpful on their homework too! One student thought it was helpful how it gave him a similar problem to help him learn how to do the one that he asked about.

Have you had a chance to test this out yet? We'd love to hear your feedback.

We have just made the AI Regents Tutor for Algebra II available and we would love your feedback.

It is always our intention to be pencil to paper first but the idea for students to have feedback based on Kirks video instruction while they are studying or working through problems at home seemed like a good exception.

This is a beta feature meaning it is in the early stages and we are fine tuning it and have the ability to implement your suggestions and take your feedback into consideration for what the final product will look like.

Our goal is to have this type of feature available on all of the eMATHinstruction lesson videos in the future.

Thank you to all of the amazing teachers for all that you do - no AI feature or computer program could ever replace the difference you make in the students lives and learning journeys.

All that we do should be paired WITH amazing teachers like you. Never to REPLACE (as that's not even possible in our minds).

Solving America's Math Learning Crisis 05/28/2026

America is in a so-called 'math crisis'.

This issue is larger than declining standardized test scores.
For years, national discussions around math have focused on rankings, benchmarks, and remediation. The approach to math education is finally shifting, and we believe the next step must include educators in the conversation.

Read the full article here:

Solving America's Math Learning Crisis Test scores are dropping, but what's scarier is a growing number of students disengaging from quantitative thinking across mathematics entirely.

⭐ We’ve been building something that we are excited to share with you: an AI tutor specifically for Regents Exams.

At eMATHinstruction, we have been asking ourselves:
What would it look like to give students access to extra math support that teaches the way teachers do?

Students need guided help for when they are studying on their own. They need support that helps them understand why something works rather than what the answer is.

Our tool has been trained using eMATHinstruction’s Regents review videos, so explanations stay grounded in the language, approaches, and teaching methods that students have seen. It feels like an extension of their in-class material.

Much like a tutor, when students ask a question, the tool does not immediately give away the answer. It asks questions, points out patterns, and identifies where the student went off track.

⚡⚡ If you’d like to be among the first to try it when it opens up, sign up for early access here: https://www.emathinstruction.com/ai-regents-tutor/
