What’s a better way to celebrate Spring - a bouquet of flowers or a bouquet of cheese? 🤔🌷🧀

I can choose both with this Jacquin Buchette Aux Fleurs, a fresh goat cheese from the Loire Valley that is coated with dried flowers including rose petals, cornflowers, and marigolds.🌹💐

It was a day of plush, luscious, triple crème cheeses in the shop yesterday, with from offering particular beauty! This is a cow’s milk cheese that smells of slight earth and mushroom bloom, and tastes like a classic, buttery triple cream with just of a bit of saltiness. Loved it!

I scored one of seasonal bloomy rind Jersey milk cheeses, Oh My Heart, a bit ago and it was absolutely scrumptious😍 I wanted to save it for a special occasion while letting it hit peak ripeness, and today was the perfect moment to tuck into this little beaut. It was absolute perfection- buttery, milky, and just a bit mushroomy.
Thanks very much to Leah at for the rec!

It has been almost a year since I decided to explore my passion for cheese beyond simply being a frequent buyer, and decided to apply for a job as a monger behind the counter of my local wine & cheese shop. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have had incredible opportunities to learn, appreciate, and most of all for me - feel like I’m part of a community of both local cheese lovers (shout out to my friends and !!) and my wonderful customers at the shop. I am grateful for all the chances I’ve had to further my knowledge of cheese, and am very proud to share that I’ve become a Cheese State Scholar, as awarded by Cheese State University from ! Thanks very much to all who have supported me throughout my journey!

I am so grateful to this community, and am feeling very good about where my passion will take me.
Stay cheesy, my friends. ❤️ & 🧀

When visiting the Hudson Valley this weekend, I had to pay a visit to the Corner Counter in Red Hook for a beautifully curated array of international and local cheeses, plus some AMAZING grilled cheeses options and great vibes all around! Thanks so much to Hallie for recommending a great NY State cheese, plus the Classic grilled cheese with fig jam. It's definitely worth a visit!
