This has been a very quiet site for awhile. Things are busy around here, I just haven't let you know. The Sewing Studio is taking a bit of a rest while my kitchen is being remodeled, but very soon the Studio will be buzzing again. What is everyone else doing with your summer? Hope you are staying cool and comfortable.

Hi everyone,
Do you need something to keeps some kids occupied next week while there is a school break? Well, there are still a few seats available at the Kids Sewing Camp Tues - Fri, 1:30 to 5:pm each day. They will be working on 3 to 4 projects and learning the skills of sewing. Give me a call for more info, or check the archived messages. Register quickly since seats go fast. Get a new creative skill started in your child that will last a lifetime.

Happy New Year. This 1st month is almost over but next month has a couple events coming up. Pegasus Lane Sewing Studio will be taking part in Red Bluff Chamber of Commerce B.E.A.M 2017 business expo on Feb. 9th from 5:pm to 7:pm at the Community Center. Come by and say 'hi' and learn about our teaching schedule and kids camps.
First kids camp will be Feb 21 - 24. Projects we will be making during the camp will be on display.
Another kids camp is scheduled for April 19 - 21. Pre-registration is advised for both camps since space is limited. More information will be available at the B.E.A.M 2017 booth or call 209-1597.

The Sewing Studio is really coming along after it was flooded. Be watching for an event coming up in the near future. We will be holding a GRAND RE-OPENING. We are still at least a month away from that, but keep watching for the announcement. There will be door prizes and refreshments, and lots of fun. Be thinking about when you would like to sign up for a sewing class. Christmas is just around the corner. Or maybe gift a class to someone. We have gift certificates.

While Pegasus Lane Sewing Studio is recovering from its flood there are Kids Kamps going on at The Sewing Room in Redding. This is a picture of the whale pillow he girls made. They have also completed a head band and are working on their shorts today. It has been a great 4-day camp. Next one coming up in a month.

The Sewing Studio took a big hit today. Water flooded about 1/3 of the Sewing room. The floor may need to be replaced, so scheduling classes will be tricky. We have to wait a few days to see what the permanent damage is. Sewing classes will proceed, but the Kids Camp will have to wait until late July, if all is put back together by then. I will keep you posted.
