During the summer when schools are out, many children from local low-income families do not have access to lunch and or backpack programs who provide nutritiously balanced meals throughout the school year. Without access to these critical programs, the summer can be a season of hunger for these children.

Vanessa Vannoy, Headstands For Hunger and Fulfill are hosting a Silent OM! yoga event Friday, June 22nd from 630-830pm, at Festival Plaza, Pier Village in Long Branch, NJ, to raise $5000 in cash and/or collect kid-friendly non-perishable foods.

This prominent local family had a lasting effect on Red Bank. Learn about their history, their achievements and the way their lives affected the community. Then, if you like, take the walking tour at 11am to get a firsthand look at the community they helped to shape. Tours are weather-permitting. 20-person maximum per tour.
