Hello Summer Camp! Our kids at the 2nd Street Learning Center took their first field trip to the Goggle Works and learned about the art of glass blowing from Scott! Scott took Mikayla’s drawling and brought it to life. Thank you Goggle Works and thank you Scott!

THANK YOU.

You showed up. Berks County families are stronger for it. What a night.

Because of you, families in Reading have a warmer bed tonight. Children at the Second Street Learning Center have what they need to keep learning. Men, women, and veterans working their way back to stable ground have a community standing with them.

That's what your night out built.

Welcome to our garden!
The garden is an important part of the SMILE program, where clients learn practical gardening techniques and skills. As they transition out of the shelter, they can apply this knowledge to everyday life, helping them grow their own food, care for plants, and develop greater self-sufficiency. Beyond education, the garden also serves as a space for tranquility, reflection, and peace, providing a calming environment that supports overall well-being.
